What is a Avango Prepaid Card (the card)?
The Avango Prepaid Card is a cashless payment instrument that allows you to purchase goods and services at all VISA accepting merchants WORLDWIDE. It also allows cash withdrawal at any of the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) that display the VISA and/or Plus logo. Funds must be loaded into your Card Account prior to usage. You may only use the Card according to available funds preloaded into your Card Account. No credit check or bank account is necessary for this Card and it will not be linked to any bank account, as it is a stand-alone Card Account.
What is a prepaid card (VISA / MasterCard) product about?
The prepaid card is a cashless payment instrument that allows you to purchase goods and services at all VISA/MasterCard accepting merchants worldwide. It also allows cash withdrawal at any of the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) that display the VISA/MasterCard and/or PLUS logo. The card comes with the contactless feature: it can be used at any contactless payment accepted merchants. The contactless limit is up to RM250. This RM 250 limit however is subject to change from time to time. Funds must be loaded into your Card Account prior to usage. You may only use the Card according to available funds preloaded into your Card Account. No credit check or opening of bank account is necessary for this Card. It will not be linked to any bank account, as it is a stand-alone Card Account.
What are the fees and charges I have to pay for having a Prepaid Card (VISA/MasterCard)?
What is a Card Account?

What are the key terms and conditions of this product?
For Malaysian:
  • Applicant must be at minimum 18 years of age.
  • Full payment of joining fee is applicable.
  • Must provide valid residential and Malaysian mailing address (P.O. Box is not accepted).
  • Must submit a valid copy of a government issued identification document (NRIC/Passport & Selfie with ID)
  • Must have a valid mobile number to receive SMS OTP for online transactions.
  • No income requirement.
  • Funds must be preloaded into the Card prior to usage.
  • The maximum Card Account limit is RM 10,000 at any one time.
For Non-Malaysian:
  • Applicant must provide valid residential and Malaysian mailing address.
  • A copy of a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity) & Selfie with passport.

How is my money kept in the Card Account?
The full amount of the funds reloaded by our CardMembers are kept in Finexus Trust Account with a licensed bank in Malaysia.
Do I need an existing bank account to open a prepaid card account?
No. You do not need to have an existing bank account to open a prepaid card account. If you do have a traditional bank account, you can use it to load your prepaid card account with a bank transfer.
Can I use Prepaid Card to shop online?
Yes, you can once you have opted in to shop online.
Can I use Prepaid Card overseas?
Yes, you can once you have opted in to use the Card overseas.
What do I need to do before I can use my Card?
You must activate your Card prior to loading funds into the Card Account.
How do I prevent my Card from unauthorised usage?
Protect your Card as if it is CASH! Keep it in a safe place and do not share or divulge your Card number and/or PIN (Personal Identification Number) to anyone. It is advisable not to write down your PIN anywhere. If you have to, keep your PIN separately, away from your Card.
How can I obtain my Online Portal Account?
Step 1 : Proceed to www.finexuscards.com– YippiePay portal
Step 2 : Click on the ‘LOGIN’ tab and it will guide you accordingly. Use Login Id and Password to proceed.
Where can I check my current Card Account Availability?
You have 3 avenues to obtain your latest Card Account availability:
Login to your YippiePay Portal Account via website www.finexuscards.com. and click on the ‘Card Account Balance’ tab.
Call Finexus at 603-8318 3100. After hours, IVR will guide you accordingly
With your Malaysian mobile number registered with us, you may SMS to ‘63660’.
SMS message: [Finexus]space[BE]space[last 6 digits of your Card number].
How do I keep track of my spending?
Your statement of account history is made available when you login to your YippiePay Portal Account. You can view and/or download your monthly statement for the last six (6) months.
Does my Card have an expiry date?
Yes, it is printed on your Card.
Are there any special types of transactions and/or limits I should know about before I use this Card?
Yes, there are. There are some types of transaction whereby the merchant will ‘hold’ your funds for a short period of time, like a refundable deposit. Therefore, the withheld amount will not be available until the merchant ‘releases’ it. Please be mindful of the following types of transactions and also ensure you have sufficient funds in your Card Account;

a) Petrol stations – when you pay at the pump, the merchant will reserve RM 200 in your Card Account. The unutilized funds will be released within there (3) working days back into your Card Account. To avoid this, best to proceed to the cashier counter and pay the exact amount with the Card.
b) Hotels – some hotels will ask for a ‘deposit’ upon your check-in with a payment card. Do ask them how much they plan to take as a ‘deposit’. This amount will be put on ‘hold’. The merchant will ‘release’ the funds after you check out, but sometimes it may take a few days.
c) Recurring payment – if you sign up for this, please ensure you have sufficient funds in your Card Account before its due date.
d) Cash withdrawal - the daily limit is RM 2,990 subject to ATM’s notes disbursement capabilities. Otherwise, you can spend the amount that is preloaded in your Card Account. However, your maximum Card Account limit at any one time is RM 10,000.
What is One Time Pin (OTP)?
One-Time PIN (OTP) is a numeric code that is only valid for a single transaction when you perform online transaction. The OTP will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile phone number with us. This OTP is mandatory to enable you to complete and validate your online purchase.
What is a Contactless Payment?
Contactless Payment is a new payment feature that lets you make purchases faster since you don’t need to fumble for cash. With contactless payment, you simply wave your VISA/MasterCard prepaid card in front of a secure reader at the sales counter, and you’re on your way. The card has an embedded chip, which contains a tiny antenna that securely transmits payment instructions to and from a secure reader.
Why do I need to load the Card?
This is a prepaid card and it works like any prepaid card (e.g. mobile prepaid services), you must first load the funds into your Card Account before use. Once funds are loaded, you use it at any location that displays VISA/MasterCard logo worldwide.
Where and how much can I reload my VISA/MasterCard Prepaid Card Account?
Subject to a total Card Account limit of *RM 10,000, you can reload at the following channels:

You must have a bank and its online access facility with any one of the following banks : Affin, Alliance, AmBank, Bank Islam, Bank Muamalat, Bank Rakyat, BSN, CIMB, HLB, HSBC, Kuwait Finance House, Maybank, OCBC, PBB, SCB, UOB (for more information and the latest participating entities, please refer to www.paynet.my/fpx/banks-tpa.html)

For CIMB Clicks and ATMs:
You must have a bank account at CIMB with their online banking access.

How do I reload at CIMB’s Cash Deposit Machine (CDM)?
Please follow these steps:
  1. Please DO NOT insert your Card into the machine.
  2. Press any key on the CDM or touch the screen to commence.
  3. Select your language.
  4. Select “BILL PAYMENT” option.
  5. Enter “022” code Finexus Cards/MAA Cards.
  6. Enter your 16-digit beezPay card number.
  7. Enter your mobile number (twice).
  8. View to confirm the details on the screen.
  9. Insert your cash into the slot.
  10. Confirm the number of notes and value deposited.
  11. Keep the confirmation slip for your record.
How do I cancel my Card?
To initiate your request, you may:
Call Finexus at 603-8318 3100 for immediate cancellation or download and complete the “Service Request Form” from our website www.avango.asia then email to [email protected].
I have lost my Card. What should I do?
Please call Finexus at 603-8318 3100 immediately to deactivate your Card Account instantly or login to YippiePay Portal Account to FREEZE CARD.
How do I get replacement Card?
Please contact our reseller.
Can you deliver your replacement Card to an address other than my mailing address?
Please contact our reseller for card delivery arrangement.
My Card is about to expire, what should I do?
Please contact our reseller.
